AWE & WONDER

My name is Ahava Sarah Fischer. I was born and raised in the tropical island of Singapore. I pursued my bachelors degree in Australia. Followed this with a career in media in Singapore, where I began as a journalist and later the chief editor of a health magazine.

I moved to America in 1995, and my very first base was Hollywood, California.

I began my life in the US as a successful producer in Los Angeles. I worked with a small company that produced extreme sports content & were known for the popular award-winning series of motocross movies 'THE GREAT OUTDOORS.'

I had begun feeling compelled to read the Bible in the fall of 2011 and I felt a great sense of comfort in simply declaring the name Jesus and even merely holding the Bible .. but it was only on Easter Day in 2012, after having a powerful dream that I truly came to the Lord Jesus. It was then that I finally and completely surrendered my former opinions and beliefs, trusting in His commandments above all.

After coming to Christ, my life radically changed.

My view of the world transformed, so much so that I decided to leave Los Angeles.

I placed my things in storage and headed to Asia for a season, seeking time alone, to ponder, to study His scriptures and grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

 

It was during this interim, after several months of diving deep into my new found Love for Jesus, that I suddenly found myself meeting and marrying to an evangelist .

And then in full-time ministry! 

 

Not in my most far-fetched imagination, could I have foreseen entering full-time ministry.

If I were to entertain a galaxy of possibilities, a life in ministry wouldn't even have featured.

Yes it all happened suddenly. It was entirely unexpected and my life had turned around so swiftly, it all seemed surreal at first.

 

I felt a great urgency to catch up with my husband to had been in ministry for many years. Needless to say, everything changed in a very short span of time.

 

Soon I found myself ministering along with my husband in Holy-Spirit led adventures across America and the world. I did not have a choice but throw myself fully into ministry, to dedicate myself to learning and trust in the Lord's guidance along the way.

Several whirlwind years later, I was inspired to create inspirational media that would inspire audiences to seek and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ with all their hearts, mind, soul and strength.​ Awe & Wonder Studios was born.

​

Over a decade has passed and my husband and I continue to minister full time.

We are currently based in Vero Beach, Florida.

It has been a great delight and a blessing to preach the gospel in the streets and to reach all manner of individuals. We have also preached in churches around the world experiencing the rich diversity of cultures in Christ.

Today and everyday, the Lord Jesus is my daily inspiration. My very reason and purpose for being alive! It is truly a blessing to draw closer to the Lord and find that the world has long lost it's appeal, and all that leaves me captivated is the brilliant Light of the Lord.

He is so very worthy to be Praised and Adored !
